Gugulethu Mbatha (better known by the name Gugu-Mbatha Raw) is an British actress and film star known for her role in the film industry after she appeared in the BBC series "Doctor Who", a British Sci-Fi TV series. Gugu's role in the show as Tish Jones became very well-known. Tish Jones is the younger sister of Martha Jones. Gugu's audience loved her spontaneity and was well in the process of establishing an extensive acting career. Other stage and television productions in the UK include a variety of other productions. She is critically acclaimed for her outstanding performance in 'Belle' (2013) the British period drama as well as 'Beyond the Lights' (2014) the romantic comedy. Chelsea Joy Handler born 25th February 1975 in Livingston New Jersey. She was the eldest child in a family of six. Her father was a used car dealer, and her mother was a housewife. Her mother was born in Germany and immigrated to the United States as a young woman in the year 1958. The cancer of the breast was first discovered in 1989. She died a decade following her battle with cancer. Handler was brought up in Reform Judaism by her father and grandfather, who were Jewish. Handler enjoyed a happy and healthy life within a thriving neighborhood. In her early twenties, Handler relocated into Los Angeles in order to take on acting. In order to support her family, Handler began to work as an actor. However, when she was age 21, Handler decided to pursue the stand-up comic profession full-time, as she was able to discover her storytelling skills. Handler began her stand-up career joining the female-only Oxygen group, who starred in a TV show called Girls Behaving BADLY. This series was known for its secret camera and humorous jokes. This reality TV show ran from 2002-2005. The host worked on numerous other shows including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice as well as Weekends at D.L. Handler started working as an associate on The Tonight Show. Handler had her biggest break in 2006 when she took over hosting of E! It was called The Chelsea Handler Series. The show ran for two seasons. The following year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have broadcast her live stand-ups. She was named as the host of 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. It made her the 2nd women in history, behind Roseanne Barr, to host the VMAs.
